NC Broker-In-Charge Update (BICUP)
The North Carolina Broker-in-Charge Update Course (BICUP) is a mandatory 4-hour continuing education (CE) requirement for Brokers-in-Charge (BICs) and BIC-Eligible real estate professionals in North Carolina. Approved by the North Carolina Real Estate Commission (NCREC), this course fulfills half of the annual 8-hour CE obligation for active license renewal, with the remaining 4 hours from an approved elective.

Designated Brokers-in-Charge managing a firm or office.
BIC-Eligible brokers maintaining their status.
Not suitable for provisional or non-BIC full brokers, who must take the General Update (GENUP) course.
